Allison + Chris, Scranton Cultural Center Wedding, Scranton, PA
Two weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Allison + Chris' April wedding. Their ceremony was celebrated at the restored and historic Colonnade in downtown Scranton and their reception was held at the beautiful Scranton Cultural Center. Honestly, every little detail was thought out perfectly and I'm so glad I was chosen to capture it. It was such a classic and elegant affair with friends and family coming from around the world.
Allison and Chris are both world travelers and lovers of music. They hit it off in college at the University of Scranton in the music department; and that's exactly where we traveled to on their wedding day to capture some beautiful photographs. They incorporated their musical heart and soul into the entire day. Music is in all of us and I definitely see it within the hearts of Allison and Chris. As I photographed each detail I was reminded of how important it was to them. Chris gave Allison a beautiful gift on the day of their wedding engraved with "Forever a Song", there was a special guitar pick that was also engraved and used throughout the day by Chris, he even composed the ceremony music, and their cake was made to look like piano keys! Allison joined him at the end of the night singing and playing piano with the band Picture Perfect at their reception. It was a whirlwind of a day and a great start to the 2016 wedding season!
Allison and Chris I wish you only the best and enjoy your honeymoon in THAILAND!
