Judah Jameson Daniels - March 28, 2017
He's here! He's finally here and I'm so excited to share him with you all! When they tell you that Motherhood is messy, challenging, crazy, sleepless, giving and undeniably beautiful ... they're 100% correct. These past few weeks have certainly thrown me for a loop but I am sooooo overjoyed to be the proud momma of this bouncing baby boy, Judah! I still can't believe that he's mine... I get to keep him... like, forever! I see so much of Ryan in him and so much of myself.
Judah was a scheduled c-section for March 29 but I went into labor naturally at 4:30 in the morning Tuesday March 28. I couldn't really tell at first whether I was having labor pains (due to having pre-term labor contractions before, and I didn't think anything of it) so I jumped in the shower to calm my muscles down. When they didn't calm down and my contractions were getting crazier and closer together it was definitely time to head to the hospital. After a few hours in triage, contractions getting more insulting hahaha, and an ultrasound it was decided that Judah would arrive via c-section since we were only hours away from his scheduled one. BOY am I glad we went with the c-section! He came out weighing 10 pounds and 20" long!
I still can't believe that I'm a mother. My wonderful friend Danielle Coons came to the hospital and captured an incredible "Fresh 48" Session that Ryan and I will cherish forever. It truly captures how the hospital stay really went and how prepared you need to be for unpreparedness/anything goes as a parent.
So with this, I share some amazing images from my amazing and beautiful friend Danielle Coons and also some images I captured of Judah's nursery, my last days of pregnancy, and Judah's first week home.
